 This box is from Cuba.This CBG  feels instantly familiar as it has a silky smooth mahogany neck that has the feel of a well worn vintage guitar. Poplar fretboard and 3 piece mahogany headstock finished off with 17 medium jumbo frets with silver fret markers on the fretboard. Chrome strat style adjustable bridge. Sam'l J Davis Co.

This cool vintage box is made of mahogany and was originally from Havana Cuba. A guess would be late 30's early 40's.
With these old boxes I try to maintain as much of the original character and patina as each one has its own story. I have added internal corner bracing to support the old wood. This has a solid maple neck and a 3 piece maple headstock with a poplar fretboard, 17 medium jumbo frets, fret markers on the front and top side of neck. In keeping with the clean look of the box it has a thin humbucker pickup located "under the hood" with volume control.
